Are you considering hosting webinars online? Before you invest in any webinar creation tools or hire a video professional, do your research to make sure webinars are a fit for your business. Here are some issues to take into account:
- Do you have something to share? Is there a particular specialty or expertise you can impart to your customers? For example, an auto body shop could show customers how to change a hubcap or tire. A computer consultant could have weekly webinars where customers can ask questions about their computer issues.
- Do you have customers who would tune in? Ask your customers if they’d be interested in your business having webinars. Remember, even if customers express interest, it may take time to build up an audience, so don’t get impatient.
- If you decide that you’re not quite ready to produce a full-blown webinar, consider starting out smaller with a Google Hangout or Tweetchat.
